By skyforbes As someone who owns every modern console except switch 2, I just don't feel ready for the next generation of gaming. It feels like we're finally getting to the point a regular flow of games is coming out, this is the best time to be a gamer in my opinion (besides raising standard game prices to $80 & xbox going up). I know it's years away before ps6 or new xbox, but we're basically at the end of the life cycle for modern consoles which feels weird. I sort of wish xbox and Playstation hold off for abit longer. I really don't want to see the next consoles held back because they're trying to also run games on older consoles like we saw so often this time around. The next console should be ground breaking and have exclusives only for its new system. I held back on getting an series x for so many years because most of their games were also playable on xbox one. It wasn't until destroy all humans 2, starfield and halo infinite did i actually feel the need to upgrade when they were series x only.
