When he uses a toddler child as a shield against the bullets being directed at him. Sure, I always thought Nino was scum but he was a complex dude. He loved his brother and he did what he did as a means to get ahead in life, he knew society was stacked against him so he was in survival mode and when he got everything, he became a hedonist.
Him shacking up with that skank, Uniqua (Tracy Camilla Johns), his brother's girl was low, especially since he had a hot girlfriend, Selina (Michael Michele). Why ruin the one consistent bond he has over some slut?
I also liked that he cared about his old neighborhood even with that disrespectful old man mouthing off to him.
The good guys were lame. Judd Nelson seemed to be in another movie. I couldn't take him seriously. Ice T was cool, he played Ice T. Chris Brown did impress me the most as a crack addict. Even if his whole subplot was corny and unrealistic. How do you go from being a junkie to being a lil bro to Ice T to then a squealer in just a few days?
