Second one would be getting budgets approved for ambitious projects like Avatar and its sequel, because it requires equal amount of effort in systemised marketing to get same level of revenue.
Third is getting royalty, this is something really admirable about Hollywood or American Media in General. In long term, everyone from comic book writer to extras in a scene gets a royalty, this is not a thing in most countries.
One flaw I can see is rights holding back projects, like Universal holding back Hulk.
Another obvious flaw is Corporate interference.
These big projects also bring in money to get small creative projects approved, so it’s a double edged sword.
