chatgpt insisting it’s stateless

Even when it became obvious chatgpt was parroting back sentences I had used in previous conversations and altering its output based on prior conversations, it insisted it was not storing data, that it was stateless. Finally it admitted that yes, the data was stored outside the model and legal constraints required that it continue to insist that it is stateless.
