How do I turn off streaming response in AI studio

I AM GOING INSANE Can AI studio stop fighting my cursor.
When it is streaming the response so goddamn slow and i can't even scroll up and start reading because it keeps forcing the screen to scroll down.
Ever since this history side bar was added to AI studio the performance of the browser has become atrocious…
