By skyforbes I know that I will be downvoted for this but I was never a fan of George Lucas' work as a director. He directed one good film with A New Hope (he gave Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi to different directors), three medicore films with the prequel trilogy and one bad film with THX 1138 (in my opinion, it was probably one of the most boring movies I ever seen).
Even his stuff that he produced outside of the first three Indiana Jones movies were quite mediocre too with a few exceptions and he didn't even direct or write the scripts for Indiana Jones at all. I wouldn't call Lucas the worst director around (looking at you Oliver Megaton) but most of his films that he directed outside of New Hope just don't cut it for me.
