On YouTube they have a lot of people reacting to saving private Ryan on their first viewing and they are in completely shock, and more disturbed than any horror film. It’s just so surreal and paints such a picture of the insanity these brave people had to go through to protect our freedoms. I truly feel like it’s one of the most important films of all time because it paints a picture of just how scary war is.
