Shackles for today’s ICE flight at MSP, placed on 15° tarmac

ICE Air getting shackles ready for five van loads of deportees today at MSP, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. It was 15° F, with a windchill of 6°.

These chains connect deportees' wrists to their waist, and holds their ankles together. In the event of depressurization, they cannot reach for oxygen masks, and would likely have difficulty evacuating in the event of an incident on the ground.

Today's route was AEX-MSP-OMA. It was operated by Eastern Air Express's N625SW as TYSON42, and was loaded and fueled at Signature Aviation, MSP's private jet terminal.

There will be a protest tomorrow, Wednesday, Dec 3, 2025, at 10:30 AM at MSP’s T2 light rail station – this was scheduled to match ICE Air’s historically consistent Wednesday morning flight schedule. Text MSP to 30319 for updates, or visit: https://secure.ngpvan.com/NvR1yK-oeEySWsjwmCFd9w2
