Frustrated With Windows Performance for Dev Work. Would a MacBook M4 Be a Better Choice?

Hi everyone, I’ve been coding on a Windows laptop for years, but lately, it’s started slowing down a lot whenever I work on heavy projects. I’ve been thinking about switching to macOS and recently came across an article titled Best Laptops for Programming and Coding in 2025. That’s where I learned more about the new MacBook M4, and now I’m seriously considering getting one. Before I make the switch, I’d love to hear from other developers — is the MacBook M4 really worth it for dev work, or are there better options out there (Windows or Mac)? Would really appreciate insights from anyone who’s made the switch recently!
