By skyforbes Their name is Thorns Tavern, and based on comments from their previous kickstarters, it appears to be their latest scam.

- Repackaging existing software that converts 2D images or other 3D models into miniatures that they can sell.
- The software has no copyright filtering in place other than “Please don’t steal.”
- They already have a 200k printer, but are still asking for money
- Use copyrighted characters in their marketing
- Their previous two kickstarters are filled with comments saying they never received their product, or if they did, that it did not match what the campaign promised.
- They want up to $50 for an AI-generated mini.
This is not only an insult to miniature sculptors and the industry they created from thin air, but also opens the door to widespread art theft.
