By skyforbes I use Gemini daily for both work and personal projects, but I was getting increasingly frustrated with the sidebar. It was becoming a chaotic list where I couldn't find a conversation from two weeks ago without scrolling forever.
I looked for existing extensions, but they were either paid, limited, or didn't do exactly what I wanted. So, I decided to build my own.
Introducing Gemini Ultimate Organizer.
It’s a lightweight Chrome extension that adds a "layer" to Gemini to help you keep your chats organized.

Is it free? Yes, 100%. This is a passion project. No ads, no "Premium" subscription, no data tracking. It is Open Source (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license), so you can inspect the code, contribute, or fork it for personal use.
📥 How to try it? It's not on the Chrome Web Store yet (submission is in progress), but you can install it manually in 1 minute:
- Download the code from GitHub: https://github.com/AinsTitor/Gemini-Ultimate-Organizer
- Go to
chrome://extensions/in your browser. - Toggle "Developer mode" in the top right corner.
- Click "Load unpacked" and select the folder you just downloaded.
- Refresh Gemini, and you're good to go!
