Hello everyone! I have been using Gemini for my Kotlin project that I hold in Android Studio.
Since recently, I have been encountering a specific issue, see on the picture:
"Please try again later.Error: Status INVALID_ARGUMENTAPI key expired. Please renew the API key."
I use Gemini only for assistance and there are no implementations within code, what should not matter as far as I see this. I have Gemini Pro subscription.
Google's website says that even free tier is enough; yet, i decided to also consider adding my API if that can result in beter quality of code and will finally start working. Add your own Gemini API key | Android Studio | Android Developers. However, the instructions out there do not coincide with what I see in Android Studio – there is no "Model Provider" window in Tools box. (second picture).
