LLMs can’t predict the future, that contradiction is clear, but they can break down earnings, sentiment, risks, and fundamentals faster than I can manually. I’m trying to figure out which prompts actually improve your workflow instead of just generating pretty words.
So far, I’ve had the best results using prompts that force the AI to stick to:
- fundamentals (revenue, margins, YoY trends)
- sector-specific drivers
- red-flag risks
- alternative datasets (when available)
- comparison logic (“rank these based on X”)
I’ve been pairing the LLM with a few tools so I’m not relying on hallucinations alone.
For example:
- Danelfin for daily stock scoring
- TrendSpider for technical breakdowns
- Prospero AI for institutional-flow signals (helpful for cross-checking big-money movement)
I’m not looking for “what stock should I buy?” prompts, more like:
Prompts that help you analyze a sector
Prompts that break down a ticker’s drivers
Prompts that compare multiple stocks
Prompts that summarize risks, valuation, or narrative shifts
Prompts that force the AI to cite the data it used
Which prompts have actually worked for you?
If you have templates you consistently use for fundamentals, risk, sector strength, or watchlist building, drop them below.
Trying to build a list that’s genuinely useful for anyone who wants to research smarter, not hand decisions over to an algorithm.
