How I would rank the 2020’s Oscar best picture winners so far.

I know my ranking is going to be controversial, but this is how I would rank them

  1. Anora: Movie just drew me in from the start. Great acting. Ending was great. Overall really liked the movie
  2. Coda: I’m guessing this movie will be near the bottom of most people’s lists. I just thought the movie was very sweet and cute. It’s funny, feels like a Disney channel live action movie. Doesn’t really feel like a best picture winner at all. But I liked it
  3. Oppenheimer: Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great movie. A better movie than my number 1 and 2. Problem is I don’t think the movie has much rewatch value. I watched it once when it was in theaters 2 years ago and have no desire to watch it again. And no, it’s not because it’s long. I rewatched Godfather, Lawrence of Arabia, Lord of the Rings millions of times. Those are long movies.
  4. Everything, everywhere all at once: The movie wasn't for me. I immediately rolled my eyes when I realized it had multiverse shit which I'm not a fan of. Also, how did Jaime Lee Curtis win an oscar for this role? Don't get me wrong. I like her as an actress. But she was barely in the movie. And she really didn't stand out. I don't see how she deserved it for that role. The message of the movie was pretty obvious. Special effects were great. Especially for how much it cost.
  5. Nomadland: Good movie. Know what it was trying to say. Boring
