I wanted to see how Nano Banana Pro handles low resolution retro pixel styles, so I tried generating a series of likeness based portraits as if they were drawn inside classic Microsoft Paint on an old CRT monitor.
It handled the pixel density, color limitations, and UI elements surprisingly well. The Drake, Childish Gambino, and Eminem inspired images came out clean with a nostalgic feel.
This test made me curious about how far these models can go with more constrained art styles.
