I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been freaking out about something and spilling all my catastrophic thoughts, feelings, fears only for chat to fact-check me (empathetically) and bring me down to earth, which calms me enough to realize it’s right and allow me to move forward with whatever was making me anxious. It’s SO helpful if you have anxiety, agoraphobia, ocd, etc.
Today I bought an artificial Christmas tree and realized it had dried cat pee on it on the way home. I’m going to try to clean it and have a plan but was still freaking out about the process and what ifs.
