By skyforbes I'm using Nano Banana Pro from within the Gemini Chat UI.
I was on Pro yesterday, and was getting PNG images that were about 5MB. Watermarked.
Today I upgraded to Ultra. Now I'm getting JPEG images that are about 400KB, and the compression factor is 92%. Without the visible watermark.
I assume it's due to my plan upgrade and not just a coincidental across the board change.
Anyone else seeing this? The image dimensions are the same. I guess it's possible they're comparable quality, and the PNG's larger size is just misleading. It doesn't seem drastically worse to my eye. But, it's unexpected.
