Building my first app with Nano Banana — launched today

Day 73 building my app

My first attempt at building an app — learned a ton along the way. Wasn’t sure I’d ever launch something publicly, but here we are: Gazo is now live on the App Store 🚀

What started as a personal project turned into weeks of debugging, experimenting with different models, and testing with real users. I originally just wanted to build something simple for myself, but early feedback pushed me to improve it further.

Unlike a chat-style interface, Gazo is a dedicated mobile editor built around AI photo editing — version history, prompts, and all your edits are neatly organized in one place. I’ve been building a lot of the workflows around nano banana, and really enjoyed how fast it is compared to other providers.

I’ve also been testing Nano Banana Pro lately, and I’ll be bringing it into future versions once I finish tuning the prompts and costs. Lots of new models dropping fast, so I’m planning to keep adding support as they land.

If you’re into AI photo editing, I’d love for you to try it out and share any feedback.
