By skyforbes When I first saw Mrs. Doubtfire in the theaters as a kid I never liked Miranda. I felt she was the villain of the movie. However as I got older and rewatched the movie I understood why she wanted the divorce and felt she was justified. However I still felt her actions after the divorce were reprehensible. She was actively trying to keep Daniel from his children. When she mentioned the ad he asked her if he could simply pick the kids up for a a few hours and she sarcasticalky said “l think about it“. On one hand oriole could argue she wanted Daniel to prove himself but I think it was more out of anger Thankfully by the end she realized her behavior was bad at the end and she went through her own metamorphosi so to speak. Interested to hear other opinions!
