By skyforbes I've been mulling whether to get this game back and forth for years and it's now on a record 70% sale (for vanilla and yes, I know the DLCs make it so much better, but I'm not throwing out 30 Euros without testing the waters, although I would supplement at the Christmas sale if I like it).
I'm of two minds here. On the one hand, I've really been wanting a new tactics game to dig into and I've not really found one that really has gotten me interested in almost 2 months. On the other hand, I'm really not a fan of overly complicated metagame stuff like Symphony of War or XCOM2 – and yes, I know this game features some of that, but I'm also thinking maybe it might be manageable.
I watched Mortisimal's review of it and originally I was gonna pass on it, but I'm starting to wonder whether I should give it a shot. Having a really deep tactics game I can keep going with would feel so nice.
So anyway – what's the verdict?
