I have had Medicaid for years for my 2 children and me. I got my decision letter back, and it’s saying I make too much income? I can’t find the numbers they cited in my letter anywhere as far as me making over allowable income. They also put me as a 2 person household when all of my other documents say 3. Could someone please help me understand what’s going on?
Exactly what the letter states:
“You have been reviewed for all Medicaid programs and have been determined ineligible for health coverage.
You are no longer eligible for Medicaid coverage because your monthly countable income of $1,300.00 is over the limits for the month of 12/2025 and 01/2026. Your income is the amount of money you make in a month.
We base your income on information you give us and information we get from other sources. You told us you had a household size of 2. The income limit for your household size is 335.00 each month to be eligible.”
