Red Dawn was four years old when I was born and I first saw it when I was about eight or nine years old. Something about the concept of high schoolers getting thrown into that chaos was so interesting to me. Not adults who would’ve had life experience to somewhat navigate that.
Arnold was my childhood superstar because who the hell doesn’t like the terminator movies???(The first two*)
The Crow was an accidental introduction for me. My older brother was really big into grunge music when this movie released and it fell into his type of stuff on tv.
Little Monsters is literally the reason I stopped fearing of monsters under the bed as a kid. This movie made me think they were all cool as hell like Maurice.
Tremors made for a lot of fun times outside as a kid pretending graboids were after us if we set foot on the ground.
Return of the Living Dead part 2 is easily my most watched “old” zombie movie. Zombies were just cool shit when I was a kid because coming back from the dead was the best idea for a scary movie.
