By skyforbes I am using Gemini for all my casual personal needs from my Pixel phone with the latest Android version. I use gestures with my phone and use the slide up from the corner to do quick questions using my mic. Biggest issue is that it always outputs in audio since I use my mic. I know I can select my keyboard and then use my mic function from there to stop this but it's extra steps.
Asked Gemini itself to help me with this and it does give me guides on how to turn the Google Assistant output to none, but appears outdated. It send me to the Voice and Sounds for the assistant and there should be an option for sound output that isn't there. Just the option to change voice types.
I know this is more Gemini and Pixel specific questions but the Pixel subreddit never responded to my post.
