There is always a lot of panic around new tools and what it means for artists / voice actors / and so on. But no one talks about the opportunities it is bringing.
Having a ton of cheap readily available voice acting options on platforms actually means MORE voice work will be done (tiny indie games will now be able to easily do it, where as before it was tens of thousands of dollars to do to a professional quality). Let alone all the ways we can't even imagine right now….
And with platforms leaning into that and allowing people to monetize their voices, it's kind of amazing for voice actors right now (even though they were in a panic about it).
