I asked Chat GPT to give me 50 people's birthdays randomly, just for fun to test the "birthday paradox" I think it's called about how there is a high percentage chance that at least two people will share a birthday (I thought it was 99.9%, Chat GPT told me it was 97% chance). Also maybe by the way I did it, it messed something up so the experiment couldn.t work, not sure.
The first list was normal, except that no one shared a birthday. I said wow, crazy, and it then explained that there was a 3% chance that could happen. Okay, sure. I mentioned how it was wild no one shared a birthday with a 97% chance of it happening. Then I asked it to do the same experiment again- 50 people, 50 randomized birthdays. The results are the pictures posted.
There's no way, right? Like, I don't even know what I am asking or how to explain it but after I mention no shared birthdays the next list has tons of repeats? It told me it was still fully randomized but I just don't buy it!
Maybe I am missing something, I don't use Chat GPT too much so may not know something important about how or why this happened. I do know that I wanted to bring it to you all to see what you thought.
