This is probably a bit embarrassing to admit, but I remember choking up at the part where they first see the brachiosaurus in Jurassic Park. Something about John William's score combined with Spielberg's cinematography (he really is a masterful visual storyteller) just kind of made me feel this utter awe that I simply haven't been able to replicate much anywhere else. Obviously Jurassic Park has been discussed ad nauseam, but it really is one of those scenes that immerses you and makes you share what the characters are feeling in the moment.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? A scene in a film that's not necessarily sad, but that makes you emotional over sheer beauty or awe?
