can’t create any canvas anymore. am i the only one?

yesterday it told me it just couldn't access something called "Canvassomething" (i forgot the actual name of the file).
and today it just tells me the feature has been disabled because it was a "experimental feature".

EDIT: i can in fact FORCE IT to create a Canvas, if i do "Add Files: Canvas" with the + menu.
but it dosn't create Canvases anymore when i ask it for some reason
