Now, I am 99% sure the answer is probably "nah, it just so happened" or "it's confirmation/whatever/ bias" or "well, naturally, your eye would go there, you're looking too deep into this" but that 1% is bugging me so I have to ask
As you know, this movie is all about magic and they like doing little tricks on the viewer. For examople in the 1st (or was it the 2nd one?) they did this in the trailer.
The character says "Pick a card" and goes through his cards, but one of the cards appears for sliiiightly longer than the other cards, so you naturally remember that card.
Then, there's a big reveal on the building in the movie that shows that particular card and the people in the trailer were like "omg, i did actually pick that card how did they know?!?!?!"
…now this is not a big deal, and instinctively, I know how distribution works and I know it's probably impossible for such a thing to happen to EVERY country in the world .. but, my question here is:
In the 3rd "Now You See Me" movie, when the characters are in Belgium, they go past a building that has lots of flags attached to it. Probably every flag in the world maybe??
While I was watching the movie, I noticed my flag and I was like "ha! There it is"…but a second after, it kinda struck me odd that I immediately noticed that flag, and then all the other flags. It was like..way in my face in a way, that got me thinking and caused that 1% of uncertainty that made me create this thread
…Is it possible that the movie has edited different flag in that particular position for every country the movie is showing, as a bit of an 'easter egg'? The "look here" element of magic is important and trying to force the viewer into looking where you want him to look even if it's not important to the actual act is a big thing in magic too, so i…. idk, I can't help but have some doubts lol
I am 99% looking too much into this, but this does seem like a fun little easter egg they may add if such a thing is possible, idk (i mean, i do know Zootopia did few different lines/jokes depending on the countries, so it's not that massive of a stretch…i guess?)
