Is it necessary to stand for national anthem in theatres.

Why should national anthem play at theaters in the first place? Do you play at your marriage, birthdays, prayers etc.? Why play at a place where there is no connection to it? It’s an absurd thing to play it at a place where one pays to get entertained. If you feel it’s the right place, then let’s play it everywhere possible – temples, offices, playgrounds, parties, cafés etc. I am sure we will turn out to be absolute model citizens who will follow all rules, have great civic sense, respect each other, and in general become great human beings. 

Why do people focus more on these kind of issues than the important ones.
