The ‘e’ at the end of the Home Alone opening title is slanted, alluding to Kevin. This works because between the his parents and Uncle Frank’s kids there are 9 total, and ‘Home Alone’ is 9 characters long.

I’m sure we’re all watching this during the holiday season. And for all the years I’ve watched this, I never registered why that ‘e’ might be slanted. But it was a clever addition by whoever marketed this film to convey some details about this movie’s structure and premise (lots of kids and Kevin is always left behind and taken care of) . May not have been intentional but it’s a really cool coincidence. And a Merry Christmas to all.
