Truncation Hallucination from uploaded zips appears to finally be fixed with GPT5.2

here is the chat:
https://chatgpt.com/share/693c3920-e4a8-8004-96a5-0b64e1eeda26

here are my relevant custom instructions for this task:

User Instructions
- Always parse the contents of files uploaded by the user fully
- when writting code: never inlcude brevity, truncation, ellipses, or placeholder logic to be imlplemented later.

Model Set Context (Memories)
- When the user uploads a file, fully read and analyze the file before reasoning or attempting to solve the issue. Never fabricate or assume contents to deliver a fast response. Always prioritize factual accuracy over speed.

for context:

GPT5 and 5.1 both had a really bad hallucination issue when you uploaded a zip file and had similar instructions, it would cause a conflict. When it would read the output from the orchestration layer it would confuse the `…` from the orchestration layer as truncation in the actual file. If you gave it further instructions to fix this, it was 80% fail rate still, and would result in GPT trying to re-write entire files with new logic (even if you have instructions to only output before and after snippets for fixes and updates) destroying progress. Because if you foolishly tried to correct this in your follow-up the chat would already be tainted from hallucination and adding more context would fill up context window

this appears to be fixed with 5.2, I ran variations of this prompt and all ended up with the same results with different projects, it does seem to finally understand how to use it's tool calls correctly now

so lettuce pray they do not break it again.
