As written before
I’ve been binging Christmas movies on the streaming services in an effort to get myself into the holiday mindset. And it’s been going… decently. As I also wrote, they’re painfully predictable, most of the time, which is why, when I came across A Paris Christmas Waltz this morning, I assumed it was going to be more or less the same- woman meets man, there’s conflict, they manage to work through it and end up together, roll credits, blah blah blah.
Well, it’s kind of like that, but very weak tea, at that. More details on that topic in a bit.
What I was not expecting was the film to be a watered-down dancing version of one of my favorite 90s films, The Cutting Edge. Because, friends and neighbors, that is precisely what it is.
If you’ve not seen The Cutting Edge, I’ll be dropping some info about that film as well, so I suggest you stop reading here and watch it. It’s available for free on Pluto and Tubi, and Amazon Prime apparently offers it for free also, or so my Google search tells me.
