By skyforbes So this may not seem like a big thing, but I had been using chat GPT to create illustrations/cartoons of old photographs of me and my children together. I planned to create a little book of them and have it printed as a little bonus Christmas present for them.
In the last couple of months since joining Chat GPT I had made maybe a hundred different ones such as the ones attached. My son loved doing it and seeing himself reimagined in cartoon form.
Today I went to do it and got a message telling me that the rules have been updated and it won't allow me anymore to create any illustrations if there is a person in the image, regardless of who it is – Even if the cartoon conversion makes the person completely unrecognisable.
Such a shame.
