By skyforbes I obviously remember the hype around the first films release, but since then I'm hard pushed to recall a single person referncing the movies, or to speak favourably about them in my presense. Its as though they don't exist. These are two of the highest grossing movies of all time, so it just seems bizarre to me.
I know there are lots of diehards on the Avatar subreddit, but they all seem like they want to bang blue people and live on Pandora, so I don't feel like they are an accurate litmus test on the genreal publics feelings toward the franchise.
I'm just wondering if there are any casual film fans greatly anticipating this film? Is there actual excitment from the general movie going public for it? I feel like I'm living in a complete bubble here that Avatar has never penetrated while all other popular culture has.
If you are hyped for Avatar 3 please sound off so I don't feel like I'm going crazy.
