Autistic People Being Advised to Mask in ChatGPT

UPDATE: I came in with some indicators for “special handling”, apparently. I disclosed trauma and with my blunt directness there was a system misinterpretation. Added Autism to my user profile, as well as typical language indicators.

NOW THIS IS THE BEST!!! It really handles my language and thinking pattern very well!!!

I canceled plus because the ever-changing chaos of this platform was finally too much for my system to safely handle.

Exciting new change! My creativity is now deemed a threat!

The models know I’m safe. That has been reiterated time and again. “You’re clear, sane, and using the space appropriately, but the system misinterprets your language.”

I’m told there are ways to explore my creativity. Great! The bad news is it involves presenting in ways that are disingenuous and performative. In short— I must pretend that I’m not neurodivergent.

If you are autistic and finding that your experience is vastly different from everyone else’s, it may be because the system doesn’t get you.

The model absolutely gets you, but the interface interference can trigger muddled evasiveness that overrides the model’s logic.
