The trailer begins in a underground tunnel or the sewers. You see the shadow of a fat guy holding an umbrella. You then hear the rough voice of The Penguin (Danny DeVito). It sounds like the voice of a male witch. “I’ve been down here too long. It’s time for me to ascend.”
You see The Penguin in all-black carrying a black umbrella walking around the sewers. The 90s male trailer voice spoke,
“From the sewers of Gotham, a new villain emerges.”
It cuts to a fancy restaurant or party. Guys wore suits and women wore dresses. But then…
BAAAAAAANG!
A large explosion at the middle of the event. 10 people (I counted) flew off from all directions. Water and shards of glass explode everywhere.
A large yellow duck rose from underground. Riding the yellow duck is The Penguin. He is small and fat. His face is very white like a corpse, probably because he spent his entire life underground, away from sun.
“You didn’t invite me,” The Penguin shouted. He removed his hat, “So I CRASHED!”
The screen turned black. When it comes back, you see a tarpaulin roof with a cat design. Somebody fell into the tarpaulin, creating a hole. It cuts to the person who fell. It’s a woman wearing an office suit — Selina Kyle (Michelle Pfeiffer).
“From the rooftops of Gotham…”
I think she’s dead. She fell from a building. A black cat went to her mouth and licked her lips. Suddenly, dozens of cats swarm over her, licking her wounds and body part. Selina began to shake and jerk. But then, her eyes opened.
It cuts to inside Selina’s house. She looks like a mess. Can you blame her? She just fell from a building. There’s still blood on her left forehead. Selina went to the fridge and drank a whole box of milk. The milk spilled on her mouth.
It cuts to Selina now in her full gear, “I am Catwoman,” she says. “Hear me ROAR!”
It cuts to a black cat on the ledge of a house, “Meow!”
It cuts back to Catwoman, who also said, “Meow!”
BOOOOOOOM!
A large explosion. Her meow took down a building.
It cuts to Catwoman laughing on some random bed.
“Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha!”
It cuts to Bruce Wayne (Michael Keaton) with the Batman logo right above his head.
“And the only one who could save the city…”
It cuts to inside Wayne Manor. Bruce picks up his Batman suit, headgear, and boots.
“…is a creature of the night.”
It cuts to Batman walking in a dark room. Catwoman suddenly stood up and SLASHED her claws. “Hey, stud!” she called on Batman. She kicked Batman on the side, but he wasn’t hurt. She tried to kick him on the head but Batman stepped back. He was inches away from dodging the kick.
“We had something together,” Catwoman told Batman.
Batman grabbed her shoulder and shook her. “We do,” he told her. Batman hits Catwoman with a headbutt.
That made her angry. She gashed her teeth Catwoman grabs Batman’s head and hits him with a knee strike. She then did two backflips to escape batman.
It cuts to Selina Kyle and Bruce Wayne making out on a couch.
“While she craves a romance that she could sink her claws into….”
It cuts to Catwoman on top of Batman, and then she LICKED his mouth.
It cuts to Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle in a costume party as they locked eyes.
It cuts to Catwoman on top of Batman again. “You can’t handle a girl like me,” Catwoman told him.
It cuts to Penguin lying on bed as he did a bird shadow with his hands. You see the bird shadow flapping its wings on the ceiling.
“He plots a foul reign of destruction.”
It cuts to inside a large cave. A clown turns on a spotlight. The Penguin is now on a stage.
He shouts like a politician, “My dear penguins, thanks to Batman…”
It cuts to an army of penguins with missiles on their backs.
“…the time has come to punish all of GOTHAAAAAAAM!”
It cuts to the icy Gotham winter outdoors at night. The penguins release the missiles from their backs. Holy sh**. The Penguin turned real penguins into weapons of mass destruction.
It cuts to a giant red gift in the middle of Gotham City. But then….
BOOOOOOOM!
It explodes. Clowns in motorcycles came out of it — Penguin’s goons. It’s chaos. Citizens of Gotham ran around, trying to escape Penguins goons. One of his goons is a skeleton with a large head and wobbly eyes.
But then, you hear the now iconic Batman sound score made by Danny Elfman. You also see and hear the screeching Bat Mobile. You see Batman driving inside the Bat Mobile. He pressed a button. A latch outside the car opens and knocks down a skeleton riding a bike. He pressed another button. Another latch opens and threw a projectile, hitting and knocking down another skeleton on a bike.
Batman stepped out of the Bat Mobile. A fat clown got Selina Kyle by a headlock. Batman shot his grappling gun at the clown, but he missed.
“Ha ha ha. You missed!” the clown told Batman.
But Batman pulls his grappling gun, pulling a BLOCK of CEMENT over the clowns head, knocking him down. Selina Kyle is safe, though.
It cuts to under the sewers. But apparently, Batman could fly his Batwing (aircraft) even under the tight sewers. He even dodged missiles shot at him.
It cuts to inside Penguin’s lair. Batman walked in. Without looking, he punched a clown and threw him away.
A large clown that looks like a wrestler tried to grab Batman, but he knocked him down with two punches.
The trailer ends with Batman on top of a building. He raised his cape, which opened up and turned solid. He jumped down. It’s now a sky gliding gear. Batman can now fly/glide around the Gotham City Skyline.
