By skyforbes I really want to switch to Gemini cli but there are so many google plans available and I don’t even know which models I get access to.
This is a must: Gemini cli with Gemini 3 pro preview access.
I’m currently already using Gemini cli but with my free google pro students account and I reach the daily limits for Gemini 3 pro often so that’s why I want to move to a paid plan.
From my research, I found that I can either:
– Get the Google developper program plan (don’t know if I have access to Gemini 3 pro. 30$ per month. There is also a free plan. I don’t know the daily usage limits)

Use api pricing from my Google cloud account (Reddit posts say it becomes very expensive for coding with a large codebase)

Use Google AI Ultra plan (can’t afford 400$ per month and it’s an overkill for my use case. I basically just need Gemini cli not all the other Google services)
