By skyforbes I just wanted to play BO6 but the recent update for some reason uninstalled BO6 so it could add the new BO7 start menu. I just wanted to play a few rounds of multiplayer after work but it would take close to an hour to redownload. I'm so over this stupid game.
I only started playing COD when BO Cold War came out because it was fun to play zombies with my friends. Multiplayer was fun too even tho I wasn't very good. But now that I have owned a couple COD games, the slot machine style level up animations and unavoidable battle pass deals being shoved in my face are worse than TV commercials. And I can't even play offline without major glitches and missing content. Sometimes I just want to play couch co op but then I need to register my other controller to its own Activision account which is BS. I don't even want BO7 but the game auto updated.
It's just so lame. I remember playing 007 Golden Eye with my friends and it was a blast. Just plug in some controllers and play. This current FPS multiplayer pay to play online only register your account and sign the terms of service gaming scheme is so insufferably annoying and is not fun at all.
EDIT: just to be clear, I don't even have BO7. I don't want BO7. I just wanted to play BO6 which I do have but no, it's not that simple. I can't just play the game that I own because the greedy game company wants to try to strong arm me into buying their new same-as-the-last POS game that I already don't want.
