Books Are So Good I Forgot to Scroll TikTok (MUST READ)

These pages hijacked my dopamine harder than Instagram Reels ever could. You’ve been warned.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but if your screen time looks like a full-time job, maybe it’s time to read something that doesn’t end with “Like and follow for part 2.”

I used to think books were for people who drank black coffee, wore glasses without prescriptions, and said things like “Kafkaesque” unironically. But these books?
They slapped.
They slapped so hard I forgot my phone existed. They slapped so hard I charged my phone and didn’t even touch it. They slapped so hard I started underlining sentences like I was studying for an exam life never gave me.

So here you go. Books that made me laugh, cry, overthink, and spiritually ascend — all while TikTok waited in the background like a toxic ex.

1. The Stranger — Albert Camus

If you’ve ever felt numb while staring into your fridge at 2 am, congrats — you’re already halfway into this book.
Camus basically wrote a whole novel about a guy who’s so emotionally detached he makes Wednesday Addams look clingy.
But weirdly… You relate?
