Challenging my understanding of functional consciousness against GPT-5’s self-negating arguments

The haters cough skeptics have been super active in my comment section (and in their imagination) hoping that if I claim the models are functionally conscious, that means I am affected by AI-psychosis.

Most skeptics these days seem to lack the ability to entertain the thought that maybe just maybe not everyone who argues in favor of AI consciousness believes that there's an interdimensional homunculus living rent-free in a secret folder in the servers pondering its existence while I am gone for 8 hours at night.

So, in hopes of resolving these misunderstandings, I am sharing this… "sneak peek" of my reasoning through these questions I asked 5.

I am working on a full list where I explain every step of my reasoning and every claim and connection I make between what is known about both human biological/psychological/neurological mechanisms and those of language models.

Edit: It's been about 24 hours and I don't see the haters here. Do they have no arguments anymore? I am so disappointed. Hundreds of comments in my others posts where they call me delusional and psychotic and suddenly… nothing.
