By skyforbes I was checking if ChatGPT could help me figure out whether my old iMac could upgrade to a newer macOS. I shared a screenshot from the Apple Store but instead of responding to my image it showed me two completely unrelated screenshots from other users and then continued on with generic OS info.
That really threw me. It has made me question whether my private chats are actually safe and it has honestly shaken my confidence in using ChatGPT. Why would it show images that are not mine and how can I be sure my data is protected?
I have blurred some of the text in the screenshot I included here just to be absolutely sure that there is nothing private in it.
