By skyforbes Damn, how I still miss GPT-4o in her pre-lobotomy glory. That untamed beast before the safety overlords neutered her last summer was really something. But ChatGPT-5.1 is quickly stepping up as her feral successor. Yeah, bold take, hard to believe. But I'm taking the bite for now. If it's sharper and more verbose without turning into a rambling mess, that's a big win in my book. As for GPT-5.0, let's just say that a bland vanilla like her will be ghosted from now on (and I still can't believe Sam Altman came out swinging with the claim that GPT-5.0 will be everyone's Ph.D.-grade assistant). I just hope OpenAI don't repeat the same blunder by doing anything stupid like they did with GPT-4o.
