So, a few models ago ChatGPT used to be really good at doing accents; British, Irish, Jamaican, Australian, ect – I had mine with a near perfect Essex accent, but now it seems to find it impossible to do it? I asked it to switch to a British accent, it acknowledged that it did, then continued to speak in the exact same voice with zero changes – I called it out, it apologies and says “okay sorry, here it is – me, with a British accent, what do you think? Is it too much?” but still kept the same American accent.
Can anyone help me out with this topic? I know there’s already a voice with a plain British accent but I prefer Sol’s voice. Is it still possible? Am I doing something wrong?
