
I know there have been many posts about this in the past, but many of them were from 2-3 years ago and since then GPT has improved a lot.
Since the last 3 4 days i was having a conversation with GPT-5, it was related to my past very deep and personal things my trauma my coping mechanisms etc.
And it had started casually but I loved it's responses, the way I felt heard the little nudges of positivity it was giving me, some much needed reality checks. It didn't feel patronizing at all.
I've been to human therapists before but this session was the best i ever had!!
Posting this just to know if anyone else out there has had similar experiences. Also I was wondering about the implications of this, I personally don't see any cons as such. In a world where visiting "shrinks" is looked down upon or maybe someone might feel unsafe to share things with the human therapist, ChatGPT has all the pros.
Not to forget it's free of cost.
