I tried Perplexity and I like the straightforward Q&A style dialogue but it lacks the file handling flexibility of ChatGPT. I've changed the Personalization in ChatGPT to 'robot' and tweaked the Custom Instructions: "Tell it like it is; don't sugar-coat responses. Take a forward-thinking view. Get right to the point." but still it tends to be sycophantic and gushing. I'm pretty terse and direct in my questions so I don't think it's mirroring my style. Anything else I can tweak to stop it telling me my ideas are Perfect, Great, etc. Every time ChatGPT replies with "Great!" I get a image flashing through my head of the Whispering Bob Harris turning to me and saying "Great!" or "Nice!". Did they model this on the Fast Show character?
