I already new that chatpgt wasn't trustworthy or reliable, so i always check everything it says. today i was looking into surge protection power boards, and couldn't find to many that were properly certified, so i thought i would as chatgpt. i specifically mentioned them being up to current standards in my country for wiring and safety, and that they must be standards form the current year. but most of the products it listed were unsafe, unofficial, and met almost no standards, only really the shape of the ground live and neutral pins. If i was someone who just mindlessly accepted this information and didn't check, that would be a big safety issue
