I've been using GPT-5 for a while now and it's been great. However, it has lately began spitting nonsense and only semi-coherent phrases at me. It answers in all lowercase and in a sort of a "stream of consciousness" manner, even though my settings are completely default.
Here's an example of the intro to a cookie recipe. What could cause this behaviour?
