By skyforbes As far as I know, there currently isn’t a way to permanently set a default model in ChatGPT; every new chat starts with the system’s default (e.g. GPT-4o or whichever model is currently standard), and you have to switch manually each time.
Personally, I think it would be a useful feature to have a setting where users can choose a preferred model as their default, especially now that there are so many different models available. It would help streamline the workflow and make the experience more consistent.
So I wanted to ask whether a feature like this is planned, or if I may have overlooked an existing option.
