
One of the great performances and a character-studies of all-time, I think it's not mentioned nearly enough; Bana captures such a comedic menace; the cheeky glint with psychopathic violence, or paranoia – bubbling beneath the surface.
Then just the film as a whole. Its style; the shots, the movement, all amplifying the world Chopper lives in, in his own head -fast, twitchy, violent and unpredictable.
