In this post, I will review an AI humanizer tool called Clever AI Humanizer.

I’ve tested over 1,000 AI tools in my life, including dozens of AI humanizers.

And I just saw a huge spike in interest in Clever AI Humanizer, so I decided to give it a try.

My Experience

Actually, it was a bit confusing to find in the first place.

That’s because there are at least 5 tools named Clever AI Humanizer on the internet.

Even one ChatGPT conversation has that name. (I think it’s actually the same company.)

Nonetheless, based on the ads I’ve seen, I’m sure https://aihumanizer.net/ is the “official” Clever AI Humanizer website.

So let’s try it!

Attempt 1

I have saved some AI-written text samples over here. I’ve used those quite a bit when testing AI humanizers and detectors in the past.

This is a formal essay I’ve created using ChatGPT. All the AI detectors say it’s AI-written.

I’ll copy-paste that into Clever AI Humanizer:

Clearly, the tool is fast. It gave me this result in just seconds:

Before I enter this into an AI detector, let’s take a look at the result text and how well it reads.

Here’s the full sample that I got:

Global warming is among the biggest problems people now deal with.

Not going to lie, that is absolutely terrible.

• Just words put together one after another.
• Very hard to read.
• Super verbose and complicated.

What a total waste of time!

I mean, look at this sentence:

Yes… That’s one sentence with 48 words. I thought a sentence with over 15 words was long. But this takes it to a different level.

Things are not looking good for Clever AI Humanizer, to say the least.

Imagine you submit something like this to your teacher. It doesn’t take a genius to see that this is fully AI-generated.

Also, good luck trying to get views to content like this from social media or search engines!

But hey, let’s put it through an AI detector to see if it fools one.

For this test, I’ll use a tool called Undetectable AI. It uses multiple AI detectors in one run and averages out a score.

So here’s the result I got:

And just like I expected, there’s a high likelihood it’s written by AI.

So this tool clearly doesn’t work.

It’s just another useless piece of software.

If the very first attempt fails this badly, what are the chances that the next 100 attempts don’t?

So no further attempts needed!

This technology just doesn’t work.

Is It a Scam?

Here’s what’s even more alarming.

I made a video that shows the “best AI humanizers” and how they actually don’t really work, no matter what you do.

Yet that didn’t stop Clever AI Humanizer bots from absolutely flooding my feed with garbage comments like this.

Yes, these fake comments all try to build hype and tell how Clever AI Humanizer is the best.

In fact, these comments motivated me to make this video—as a token of appreciation for flooding my feed.

Why, Though?

Now the question is: Why on earth are there tools that clearly don’t work?

Well, it’s business…

Let’s look at the numbers from the Semrush traffic report:

It says there are over 1,400,000 people searching for AI humanizers every month.

That is an insane number.

Better yet, some of these people are ready to pay for tools like that.

This industry, even though it doesn’t work, is worth hundreds of millions.

Even if 90% of people didn’t believe it, there’d still be hundreds of thousands who do.

In other words, there’s a lot of money to be made in this space.

That’s why there are lots of startups, ad campaigns, bad actors, and more.

My Take

As I’ve said in the past, I don’t believe in AI humanizers.

I’ve reviewed so many AI humanizers, and none of them have worked reliably enough.

Don’t get me wrong: Some are slightly better than others.

But the truth is, even the best ones are way too unreliable.

Worse yet, none of them really make you sound more human.

It’s just AI-generated text passed through another AI text generator.

Clever AI Humanizer is not an exception.

It’s just a waste of time and money.
